Who says the adventure has to be over? Whether you are about to finish your orthodontic residency, or are a seasoned provider ready to make life exciting again, I have an opportunity that will not disappoint! High reimbursement, no state income tax, and even an annual PFD (Permanent Fund Dividend) for being a resident of Alaska, will pay off your student loans or enable financial freedom fast. And, if you are at the sunset of your career and want to get caught up on world class fishing and hunting, with some work in between adventures, this is your opportunity.

I am a pediatric dentist in Fairbanks, Alaska (the heart of Alaska). I have a pediatric dental associate and two offices that are very busy. I want to add an orthodontic component to my practice and am willing to accommodate several ideas/situations to make it work.

The LDS church is strong in the Fairbanks/North Pole area. The North Pole stake was recently created this March, 2021. In addition to the long-standing Fairbank's stake, the LDS population in the heart of Alaska is strong. A high percentage of the professionals in the Fairbanks/North Pole area are members of the church. We have a very high acceptance rate to BYU Provo and BYU Idaho for our college graduates (if you bleed blue), and our schools are ranked very high in the nation. The University of Alaska Fairbanks brings higher education, music and performing arts to our community. My children have participated in the local elementary school, middle school and high school, and have enjoyed extraordinary opportunities in sports (tennis team, wrestling, track and field), music (trumpet, violin, viola) and the performing arts (musicals, youth symphony, ballroom dance team). My oldest daughter is currently serving a mission, after which she will return to her studies at BYU Provo. My son is preparing to graduate from high school, start his higher education at BYU Idaho, and submit his mission papers. My two younger daughters love the new Ryan Middle School (now that Covid is finally starting to let up). In a nutshell...Fairbanks is a family-friendly community and is a great place to raise children of all ages.

Even though we have world class fishing and hunting, cross country skiing and snow mobiling, camping, road and mountain biking, we don't actually live in igloos and mush to work. I shop at our local Costco, Home Depot and Lowe's, eat tater tots at Sonic, find a book at Barnes and Noble, get lost in Super Walmart, pick out fresh fruits and veggies at one of our two Fred Meyer's or Safeways, buy printer ink at Office Depot, drive by Joanne's Fabrics, and try to stay away from McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Papa Murphy's, Cold Stone Creamery, A&W, KFC to name a few. I love to catch salmon and halibut, learning how to hunt, and am amazed at the stiff competition on the tennis courts! Our Summers are warm (70s, 80s, and occasional 90) and last from May until the snow flies usually in late October. We have 20 hours of sunlight by the end of June (I caught a salmon at midnight last year). Winters definitely get cold, but there isn't any of the blasted wind I hated in Idaho, so it never seems to feel as cold as it sounds. We don't live in the darkness during the winter, but the days get short around Christmas. We found a direct flight from Anchorage to all of the major Hawaiian islands in 6 hours! A quick trip to Mexico also feels nice in the Winter (there is no reason to make all that money if you can't enjoy it every once in a while). Flights from our modern and convenient airport will take you to Seattle, and then from Seattle to wherever you want to visit. Prices are very reasonable except during peak fishing and travel season (June, July, August).

We work in two new offices (Fairbanks, North Pole) filled with all the good stuff (plumbed N2O, 3 second Valo curing lights, Isolite 3 isolation (newest version), Biolase iPlus hard/soft tissue lasers, iTerro2 intra-oral scanners, overhead flat screen TV's and headphones, digital panorex and a pan-ceph.

If you are looking for a fun opportunity that will certainly be a rewarding adventure, call or email me and we will get a discussion going.
