Education of our members has been one of the main goals of the Academy of LDS Dentists, since its inception in 1977. The topics of the speakers help enhance our members’ professional endeavors and gives the attendees updates and tools that can be used everyday. The Academy uses funds generated by this annual conference, supporting membership dues, and donations to sponsor humanitarian service projects that educate needy people to become more self-sufficient and self-reliant. In addition, the Academy provides scholarships to deserving dental students (and hygienists), regardless of which school they attend. NOTE: 14 hours of Professional CE credit is available from the Academy of General Dentistry (for AGD members) at the exceptional price of $495 for Academy members current with their annual dues ($695 for dental professionals not current with Annual dues)

Dental Hygienists enjoy a breadth of up-to-date information with the dentists as well as a break-out session specific to hygienists. They interact with dentists and hygienists who share similar interests and service oriented goals. Spouses enjoy their own 2-day program with well-known speakers to educate and uplift. They spend time with the dentists during morning breaks and a lunch session, as well as a fireside and banquet on Friday night.
The Youth will enjoy getting to know new friends (and becoming reacquainted with old ones) through their two days of planned activities together, with separate programs for children and teens. One of the highlights for the teens is an hour session each morning with a youth motivational speaker. The value of the Academy’s annual conference is unsurpassed. Attendees are able to bring their families, be educated by the best in the profession, and enjoy the fellowship and camaraderie of other LDS dental professionals. Come join us for this exceptional opportunity and see for yourself why hundreds of dental professionals make it an annual event to return to Utah and experience the Academy’s conference. Questions?
